The Robin

Robins are one of the most frequent visitors to the garden but, perhaps because of this, I don't rush to get my camera when I see one. However, whilst taking pictures of something else today I noticed this fine specimen come and rest near a telegraph pole in the corner of the garden. It was set against a cold winter sky so I got this picture and ticked another bird off the list. 

Robins are one of the nicest birds to have in the garden as they sing all day and much of the evening, all year around. They are also a nice reminder that Christmas is on its way...
